Blog details

This blog uses Hugo with the default version of the Nightfall theme . I have not gotten around to tweaking the aesthetics yet. The web server used is Caddy .

The blog is hosted on a Hetzner cloud server, behind Bunny CDN .

Behind the scenes, I have a Forgejo instance that hosts the code I write, including this blog. An action deploys new versions on the blog on merge to main. I have used OpenTofu to provision and configure the infrastructure.

I use Obsidian and vim to edit the pages.

Could all this be done in a simpler way? Yes.

About the domain/website

I will try to make sure that the blog remains available, but if you like something that I’ve written, the best approach to preserving it would be to use an RSS reader to download & store the posts on your device.

Other than the /blog page, there will not be much else of interest to a visitor.
